CHILDREN’S AND YOUNG ADULT PROGRAMS
LITURGY OF THE WORD FOR CHILDREN is offered at the 9:00 AM Mass each Sunday. Children from the ages of 3 through 10 are invited to leave the Mass after the Opening Reading. They assemble in their own chapel room under the Church to hear the Sunday readings and a teaching appropriate to their age level. They participate in singing songs, reciting the Creed and praying together the General Intercessions. Then they return to their families in Church for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
PARISH SCHOOL OF RELIGION is offered on Wednesday evenings from the first Wednesday after Labor Day until the Wednesday before Memorial Day. The classes run from 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. They are held in Building I. All parish children from Kindergarten through Eighth Grade are expected to attend unless they go to a full-time Catholic school. However, our full-time Catholic School students are welcome to attend, also.
